Following a series of accidental encounters, his delusions materialize until
he commits the ultimate offense: murder.

On a cold winter evening, a group of close friends play an
unconventional game of sharing each other’s dark secrets. What is meant to
be harmless fun soon turns into revelations of betrayal and jealousy.

Maureen Dorey is a free-lance analyst and story editor who helps writers
renew their inspiration and find their voices. Her production credits

Screen Institute, Praxis Film Works, NIFCO and B.C. Film, and has been Story

3. TORONTO SOUNDS is looking for lighting and audio assistant
TORONTO SOUNDS is an ONTARIO ARTS COUNCIL (and hhfb) supported feature documentary on the culture of electronic music in toronto. Through event
footage, profiles and interviews – we explore the creative process of an emerging artform.
we’re shooting starting mid june… and we’re looking for 2 student-filmmakers to join the crew as:
1. LIGHTING ASSISTANT x 1
2. AUDIO ASSISTANT x 1
compensation:
- expenses covered for trasportation and shoot only. otherwise GRATIS.
time:
- required for UP TO the following dates:
- June 12, 13, 14, 30, july 9, and 5 more dates (TBD) between July 15-Oct
31
- 90% weekends, but some awkward weekend hours to be expected…
some experience is good, but easy to get along with-ness is better
you’ll be working under award-winning DPs and Audio guys in complicated shooting situations – so it should be fun!

4. U of T’s television station is looking for filmmakers
“University of Toronto Television is UofT’s very own television station, where students can write, act, and direct their own shows. Right now we’re looking for enthusiastic people who are skilled in any areas related to film making. We’re also looking for submissions of short films students may have done in the past, to be featured on the website (www.uttv.ca). Thank you for your time.”
5. Toronto Urban Film Festival. Early Bird deadline approaching.
Making a great one-minute film, that’s TUFF!
The Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF), the only festival of its
kind in North America, is a 10-day long public film festival that
reaches over 1.3 million subway commuters daily. TUFF is looking
for the best one-minute silent films from across Canada and around
the world.
REMINDER: The deadline to submit without a fee is May 31st. Fees
start at $10 CAD on June 1st and rise to $15 CAD on July 1st.
Films are selected by a guest jury of well known filmmakers,
programmers and academics in the field. The TUFF 2010 Jury:
Min Sook Lee, Jorge Lozano, Kathleen Mullen, Sarah Robayo Sheridan,
Haema Sivanesan, and Michael Zryd.

Top awards will be selected by this year’s guest judge,
Academy Award nominated filmmaker Deepa Mehta.
Over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winning
films, with a top prize of a 5 star trip for two to Jamaica.

Artist fees of $100 will be payed to every film selected by
our jury to screen on the TTC and on the TUFF website.
The festival runs from September 10 – 19, 2010, at the same
time as TIFF. Films are presented on the Onestop network of
270 subway platform screens inside the TTC, and featured on
the new and improved TUFF website.
Filmmakers, animators and video artists are invited to submit
one-minute silent films that speak to an urban audience.
Programming themes this year are: Urban Encounters and
Other Stories; Our Environment and Urban Growth; The Medium
is the Message; Urban Ideas and Politics; Urban Journeys; The City
is a Poem; After Night Falls.
While you’re submitting a film to TUFF, don’t forget you can
also submit it to our friends at the One Minute Film and Video
Festival,
