2. Film Board Farm Project is August 13-15 at Hart House Farm
This exciting weekend movie-making retreat sees about 10-20 Film Board members and guests spend 48 hours at Hart House farm and make a movie together. This is a very fun and educational weekend away from the city. No experience necessary.
Tickets: $75 ($66.37 + $8.63 HST) from www.uofttix.ca or 416-978-8849
Includes food, lodging, return transportation, and all moviemaking related expenses.
DEADLINE to register August 6 FRIDAY 5pm
3. Call for Submissions
- Short Videos Wanted
The U of T Film Festival seeks short videos from the University of Toronto community for its Fall Screening Party. We are looking for short videos of any length, genre and topic. The shorter the better.
The deadline for submissions is September 15th. Early submissions encouraged. The Screening Party will take place at Hart House on September 22, 2010.
Volunteers to help coordinate the screening welcome.

- Video Installations Wanted
The U of T Film Festival seeks short video Installations from the University of Toronto community for several Fall events at Hart House, such as Wide Open House. Video installations of any length, genre and topic welcome but there is a strong preference for work that can play silently – no sound.
The deadline for submissions is September 8th. Early submissions encouraged.

The Editing Concepts and Theories with Alex Shuper begins this Thursday and there is still space available. This extremely valuable course is not just for editors but for directors, producers, camera operators and all beginning filmmakers. This is not a hands-on editing class. Instead professional editor Alex Shuper discusses and demonstrates how editing decisions affect viewers. This class will change the way you think about and make films. Details and registration
