Grants

2009/2010 grants officer report:
I have the dubious distinction of managing a budget that has been severely cut in the past year (upwards of 70%)
To account for this, we have reduced the standard amounts for the grants ($100, and $250 grants available); and paring 3 grant periods to 2.
That being said, the HHFB grant process is not only an easy way to secure support for production costs, its a very helpful microcosm of larger grant processes (if OAC, TAC, BravoFACT type grants are in ur future). we’ve shifted the tone in the grant process toward providing constructive feedback where applicable, whether a grant is awarded or not.
so, here are the steps:
1. goto: http://www.hhfilmboard.com/wordpress/members-info/grants/
download the grant application file here.
2. read it.
3. fill it out (it helps to have a project in mind :)
4. email it to grants@hhfilmboard.com with your application attached before the deadlines
Friday November 13th 2009
Friday February 5th 2010
5. you should get a response on your application in 7-10 days.

happy grant apping!

We strongly encourage applicants to submit the completed grant form electronically to grants@hhfilmboard.com . If necessary a hard copy can be submitted to the Hart House Hall Porter’s Desk, “Attn: Film Board Grants Officer” but we have a strong preference for the electronic copy.

Questions should be directed to our Grants Officer: grants@hhfilmboard.com
